It started with my own boat cover.
Founded in the Netherlands by a boat owner who was tired of bailing.
My boat cover was new and made to measure, and after one winter it was ruined. Water kept pooling on it. The puddle got heavier and heavier, until the fabric gave up.
Look around any harbour and you see the same thing: poles, balls, buckets and battens under the covers. Everyone tries to come up with something.
In the Netherlands we have known for centuries that you have to let water run off. Every roof slopes. A boat cover usually does not.
That is why I am making the Air Support. It lifts your cover in the middle. This winter we are testing it on real boats, and we will show all the results, including the disappointing ones.
